This is one of those tiny places that’s perfect when you just need to get out for an hour. We take a little picnic, look for the ducks and have a wander. Nothing fancy, just a really peaceful little spot that the kids love.

Stratford Nature Reserve
Such a lovely easy walk with little ones. The paths are great for the buggy and there’s plenty for them to stop and look at along the way. Perfect when you want to get everyone out of the house without planning a whole day out.

Stratford Butterfly Farm
We’ve been a few times and it’s always a hit. There’s loads for little ones to look at and you can take it at their pace without it feeling like a huge day out. It gets very warm inside, so definitely wear layers! Great for filling a couple of hours, especially when the weather is rubbish.
